Carl Laidlaw Orchards
If you love apple picking, be sure to pay a visit to Carl Laidlaw Orchards this fall! In early October you will be able to pick mutsu, rhode island greening, russet, jona gold, tolman sweet, smoothie, and cox orange pippin apples here. In mid October, they harvest ambrosia, ida red, and red and golden delicious apples. In late October, it's all about granny smith. You can also enjoy apple cider, wagon rides, beautiful walks by the Credit River, a corn maze and a pumpkin patch here.
Big'r Apple Farm
Big'r Apple Farm is a wonderful place to connect with how your food grows. In the fall, you can visit them to pick your own apples and enjoy their beautiful orchards. You can also purchase picked apples and baked goods from their farm store.
Downey's Farm Market
Downey's Farm Market is a fun and delicious place to visit with adults or kids. In late September and into October, the festivities get pretty epic here with their annual Pumpkin Fest! Buy your tickets online and get ready to enjoy an amazing pumpkin patch, wagon rides, a boo barn, meeting farm animals, live entertainment, puppet shows, a straw jump, an incredible 8-acre corn maze, adorable duck races, hop it horses, a trike track, jumping pillows, a pedal cart track, and a goat mountain slide. Be sure to visit their farm store for Ontario's best fresh fruits and vegetables, delicious homemade baked goods like fresh breads and pies, jams and preserves.
